16 September 2023: Reflections on an Evening Out

Dear Diary and Lost Souls,

Tonight, as the moon cast eerie shadows across the streets, Gomez and Morticia took a break from the draining ordeal of the past days to paint the town red, or rather, a much preferred shade, black. An evening out, a momentary escape into the world that often finds itself fascinated by the dark allure of the Addams family.

As they stepped out, donned in their timeless Morticia and Gomez Halloween costumes, the air tingled with a curious mix of fear and enchantment, the kind that often follows the presence of the iconic duo. It was a statement, a testament to the fact that the true essence of the Addams family could not be encapsulated within the confinements of a store-bought Morticia Halloween outfit or a Gomez Addams Halloween costume.

It's strange, but in their natural habitat, a world unfamiliar yet oddly obsessed with replicating the unique Addams charm, my parents did not just wear costumes, they lived them, breathed them, enchanting the world one bewitched soul at a time.

Until tomorrow,
