With Imbolc approaching, we began preparations for the celebration. Mother and I cleaned the altar and set out new candles. In her Morticia dress, she looked every bit the dark queen. I wore my Wednesday dress, readying the herbs and flowers for the ceremony. The garden, our sanctuary, will be the perfect setting for the upcoming rituals.
