The New Year arrived with a waning crescent moon. Mother and Father hosted a seance to communicate with our ancestors. My Uncle, as usual, added his own explosive flair to the evening. My Brother attempted to summon a spirit himself but ended up with a ghostly cat that now haunts his room. It's quite endearing, really.
